What are we doing about COVID-19 at Swinton Queen Primary School?
Please can we remind you that if it is at all possible for children to be at home then they should be.
As of 3.15pm today school will close for the majority of students until further notice. School will only be open for specific children. Please let school know if you believe that you are a key worker. School will need evidence of your employment. Please click on the key workers list below.
Children who meet the criteria and continue to attend school can be provided with a cold lunch.
Children who are free school meals or universal free school meals and are not attending school will still have the option to collect a cold meal (grab bag) from school. Further details to be confirmed.
In school we are following advice from the DfE which is updated on a daily basis. The Government continues to stress that personal hygiene is the most important way we can tackle COVID-19, especially washing hands more; and the catch it, bin it, kill it strategy for those with coughs and sneezes.
